CC.......you're buying into all the press that normal stupid americans fall for like what? ur saying CNN is on Obama's side? CC, if you haven't noticed the Media is so unbelievably pro-Obama that its annoying now. When McCain went to Irag to visit the troops, absolutely no media went and it was mentioned for about 20 seconds in the news broadcast. When Obama went, they had live coverage, reporters following him everywhere, etc etc.. Next, I think the whole manuscript thing is blown up a little bit. Maybe Obama does crumble under pressure with questions on the spot, but I think he has his ideas right. Honestly once a president is elected, he does little to no speaking without a manuscript in front of him or a prepared speech. Finally, yes maybe we shouldn't have gone to iraq but the reality is we're there, and we're in for the long haul. We have to protect our best interests in the middle east now (oil and other things). Us staying in Iraq isn't of any noble cause, I really don't believe we give a rat's ass about iraq really. You have 3 groups of people that hate eachother's guts in the same country and none of the groups have morales whatsoever. The country will never be unified and to think democracy in Iraq will actually work is idiotic IMO. That being said, we can't just pick them up then drop em like a pile of rocks now that we're here. Then we'd get out of favor with other countries around the world which we really don't want with the situation in Iran right about now.

About the pro-Obama thing, all i'm saying is that even if they're on his side, they aren't going to make stuff up that makes the republicans look bad or the democrats look good. I definitely agree about how Iraq is never gonna be fixed, but what countries would hate us for backing out? Do any other countries around the world even support us being there because in Afghanistan, half the coalition people that have died have been from other countries, meaning they're actually helping there. Meanwhile in Iraq, about 400 coalition soldiers from outside the US have died while over 4000 US soldiers have died, so it doesn't really look like any1 wants us there anyway.

And this is kinda off topic, but I'm noticing how I'm like the only person saying Palin wasn't a good choice throughout this whole thing and yet the poll is in my favor? lol, i'm confused.

Well, no they can't make it up. But, they can use ways to get around it. Like they can draw quick almost baseless conclusions, etc... Which, I'm sure they do. Also, they can select certain things to be put on the news. Since a CNN conglemorate for example only composes about 1,000 people. Also, we shouldn't base our foreign policy desicions based on what other countries think.

No. Other than senators lobbying other senators, any senators decision is based of their own conscious and answering to their constituents. Lobbyists also play a large part in a yay or nay vote. Im curious to know who meets in Albany?

They don't make decisions on anything... The lobby, and network.
And anyone can go... I go to the Michigan Republican convention.

Countries always complain about everything we do. If we sent (random number) 70,000 troops in Afghanistan, they'd say that's too much. If we sent 40,000, they'd say it's too little. My point is... Countries complain about us all the fucking time. And they can suck our balls (except for Canada... You're cool. But fuck Quebec. ), as far as I'm concerned. Does that make sense? Cause if not then nvmd
