Block: A block is when you push out your opponent, causing him to go back, and falling behind in the play. However, blocks can only occur when you are in motion and blocking the player, if your opponent gets pushed back and you are standing still, you will not be rewarded with a "block."
Sack: A sack is the most glorious play in the HAFL. They only occur in the 1st and 4th lanes, and not in the middle. A sack is when a player, with the help of his teammate, forces a player back 3/4 spaces and completely out of the play. Once again, for the stat to count, the player must be in motion while sacking his opponent.
Assist: An assist is what the play in the 2nd or 3rd lane gets rewarded with when his teammate records a sack. A player cannot sack anyone alone, they can only accomplish it with their teammate beside them.
Touchdown: A touchdown is simple. When all players are running to opposing ends, the player that got to the other endzone first from the team that is rewarded with 7 points, gets a touchdown.
